R.I.P. Ms. Melodie (1969 – July 18, 2012) – Hip Hop Mourns The Loss of a Queen

Hip Hop is in mourning, as we pay tribute to Ramona Scott known as Ms. Melodie, for those that may not be familiar she was an emcee married to KRS-One in July 1987, and was associated with his group Boogie Down Productions (BDP) and made Hip Hop History for women until the couple's divorce in 1992. She is also the older sister of former BDP member Harmony.
 
Ms Melodie was a native of Brooklyn, NY and is survived by two sons, her cause of death has not been disclosed as of yet But all I know is that God needed another Queen home.  International Hip Hop Parade Salutes and thanks Queen Melodie for all her contributions to the culture, may she continue rocking LIVE in Heaven.
